900 bags later - GWO Update #7 (30.09.2026)

All crowdfunding rewards are out! That was around 240 packages over three weeks, with help from family. It was more intense than I expected, but walking into the roastery and seeing how far it has come, with packages stacked and going out, made me really proud and happy. Thank you to everyone who helped, and to all of you for the patience.

The first P3000 drop is on the 25th of October. I'll send a newsletter a week before with timing and which coffees are in it.

This drop is going to be the first data point for how much I should source and offer going forward. Packing and fulfilment are my bottleneck right now, so I'll try to keep as many people happy as I can. Stay with me as we fine tune quantities and frequency.

Roast profile

Everything that went out for the crowdfunding rewards tasted very good on QC brews and I'm happy with what people are getting. These are new machines though, so I'm still learning how the roasts evolve with rest and you might notice florals, acidity and juiciness shifting slightly. I'll be tasting through every batch once rested and fine tuning from there. 

Tell me what you think as you brew, you know my preferences by now, and we'll keep honing it in together, moving from very good to great just like things went on the L100.

Until then

I'm rearranging the roastery based on what fulfilment taught me, cleaning up, improving the exhaust setup and creating new paintings for upcoming coffees, especially the first two sourcing together coffees for the €1k tier backers. Then two weeks off with family before the drop happens.
